Day 02 (MON): Bodhgaya (B/L/D) Early morning visit Mahabodhi temple to offer Gee Rice Pooja (Kiripidu Dhana). Thereafter return to hotel.
After breakfast, full day sightseeing tour at Bodhgaya, visiting the
place like
Mahabodhi temple - The Bodhi tree, situated in the
premises of the temple, is the one under which Buddha attained
illumination. Lunch at hotel. After lunch visit to
Sujata Village,
Niranajana River, various monasteries,
Day 03 (TUE) : Bodhgaya / Kushinagar (B/L/D) Early Morning drive to Kushinagar Lunch on way at local restaurant or packed ( 09 hrs drive) Kushinagar (The Place where Buddha entered perfect tranquility - the state of Mahaparinirvana ).On arrival transfer to hotel . After short break , leave from hotel to visit Mahaparinirvana temple & Rambhar stupa , the huge statue of the Reclining Buddha, Mukutbandhana, come back to hotel for Dinner and Overnight stay at kushinagar hotel
Day 04(WED) : Kushinagar / Lumbini / Sravasti (B/L/D) After breakfast at hotel drive to Lumbini (170 kms / apprx 5 hrs drive) with packed lunch from hotel , Arrival Lumbini , visit Maya Devi Temples in Lumbini.: The place where enlightened Gutam Buddha was born. Evening Drive to Sravasti (190 kms / apprx 5 hrs drive) . Arrival Sravasti , on arrival check in at hotel . Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 05 (THU) : Sravasti / Varanasi (B/L/D) After breakfast visit Sahet Mahet (Capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala, Jetawana Gardens Buddhist temples etc. after Lunch at hotel drive to Varanasi (8/9 hrs aprx.). Arrival Varanasi and check in at hotel . Dinner and overnight stay at varanasi
Day 06 (FRI) : Varanasi / Bodhgaya (B/L/D) After early Breakfast at hotel drive to Sarnath (10 kms) Visit - about 10 kms from the holy city of Varanasi – is the blessed locale where more than 2500 years ago Buddha choose to deliver his first sermon. After lunch drive to Bodhgaya (apprx 06 hrs drive). Arrival Bodhgaya .On arrival check in at hotel . Dinner and overnight at Bodhgaya
Day 07(SAT) : Bodhgaya / Rajgir – Nalanda / Bodhgaya (B/L/D) At 0700 hrs after breakfast drive to Rajgir .Reaches Rajgir at 0900 hrs (from Bodhgaya which is 85 s) Rajgir is la site of great Sanctity and significance for Buddhists. Afternoon visit Gridhakuta Hill, Bimbisara jail & Ajatashatru's Fort.
Drive to Nalanda, which is 12kms. Drive (15 minuts), and It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddist Studies., Nalanda was one of the greatest monastic universities of the ancient world University established in 5th century BC. It is believed that Lord Buddha and also the founder of Jainism religion Lord Mahavir taught at this university for years. There is even a monument to facilitate Chinese traveler monk and writer Hiuen Tsang who studied at this university in the 7th century A.D Lunch at Nalanda Cafetaria. evenining drive back to bodhgaya ( 105 KMS , 02.5 Hrs Drive )on arrival check in at hotel. Dinner at hotel and O/N at bodhgaya.
Day 08 (SUN) : Departure (B/L) Breakfast at hotel Rest day free. or visit main temple or own activities or local shopping Lunch at hotel After lunch transfer to airport to connect flight for Colombo.
